Our First Concert
We started the series because we believe in social and economic justice and want our concerts to reflect that. Some of the music we present is overtly political, some of it is more subtly political and some of it is not political. Our first concert was an evening of new music and conversation questioning the economics of today, under capitalism, and fomenting our desires for a post-capitalist economy. The music of Julie Harting, Elizabeth Adams, Pauline Oliveros, Elizabeth Hoffman and Luciano Berio performed by
Felix del Tredici - trombone Chris Gamboa - piano Marianne Gythfeldt - bass clarinet Nino Jvania - piano |
